Our Vision
We
believe that a child of divorce does not have to grow up ‘broken’,
but instead can be nurtured and given an opportunity to be whole
as they grow into an adult.
The foundation and focus of this ministry is Parenting. The
vision we share is that a child can be raised in two happy homes
between parents who are kind and considerate, intentional and proactive,
and above all are Christ-like in their CoParenting. No matter
the past, the future can be strong, emotionally healthy, and fulfilling
for all individuals involved.
Our Mission
The
purpose of this ministry is to equip parents with specific, practical,
realistic, and Biblical principles and ideas on how to CoParent
with confidence, flexibility, and hope!
With
over one million new divorces a year, the rate of divorce is growing
daily, including within the Christian community. Thousands
of children are affected by divorce and the lifelong interaction
between their biological parents. Intentional and purposeful
CoParenting can make an absolute difference in the emotional health,
wholeness, and future stability of the children who are often caught
in the middle of unresolved issues between their parents.
Our Strategy
•
Resources for divorced parents
* Book, workbook, and live seminar
* Video seminar for facilitating support groups at local churches
•
Training materials for pastors, teachers and counselors who work
with divorced parents or children of divorce
• CoParent “coaching” for families offering
a supportive guide to help divorced parents work out a plan to
meet the needs of their children
• Strategic partnerships & alliances with other ministries
and organizations that interact with divorced parents and children
of divorce
• Intentional efforts to reach a non-Christian audience
to offer true Hope!
“For
the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness
continues through all generations.” Psalm 100:5
“Instead
of their shame my people will receive a double portion, and instead
of disgrace they will rejoice in their inheritance; and so they
will inherit a double portion in their land, and everlasting joy
will be theirs.” Isaiah 61:7
